Righteous comes through a belief in Jesus
And His mighty work on the cross,
Perfection is never obtained but is sought
By all Christians in an effort to please God.

Our loving God offers us righteous with Him
But this righteousness does not perfect us,
Jesus opened the door to God’s mercy
And for those who believe in Him,
Having their sins covered by His blood,
But they can still commit sin.

There is a confusion among Christians
  Combining being right with God
And living a life perfect in God’s eyes,
It is wise to understand the difference,
We try to a live in accordance to his desires
Confess when we sin and keep trying.

Righteous comes thru belief in Jesus
And His mighty work on the cross,
Perfection is never obtained but is sought
By all Christians in an effort to please God.
