THE PARABLE OF THE
STAINED GLASS WINDOWS
Come sit with me and I will tell you
The story of a wonderful parable
You say, "I love to hear parables,
I am so excited, so here I sit."
In our story there is a white church.
It is surrounded by an acre of grass,
It is three o'clock and the sun's bright,
You might desire to take a photo.
The church has large stained glass window panes,
They appear gray and dark on the walls,
They show no beauty as they blend in
To the outside surface church structure.
Some one says go into the church door,
That is where they praise Jesus the Lord,
You say all I see are ugly windows
Filled with darkness! No no, not for me.
But for the persons who let Jesus
Come into their hearts, it is so like
Opening the church door, stepping in,
There the glowing windows inspire souls.
The ugly windows seen from outside,
Inside are glowing brilliant beacons,
This wonderful parable has a point,
A great message about salvation.
When you become a Christian you see
Jesus in a new light of color,
You will feel the protective warmth layer
Of the inspiring Holy Spirit.
You have thought about being a Christian,
I invite you to turn the ugly windows
Into a glowing inspiration,
All you need to do is enter now.

DOES JESUS HAVE THE POWER TO FORGIVE
YOU?
OH, YES, READ HIS OWN WORDS ON HIS POWER:
Luke 5:18-26 18 Then behold, men brought on a bed a man who was paralyzed, whom they
sought to bring in and lay before Him. 19 And when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd,
they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus. 20 When He saw
their faith, He said to him, "Man, your sins are forgiven you." 21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason,
saying, "Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?" 22 But when Jesus perceived their
thoughts, He answered and said to them, "Why are you reasoning in your hearts? 23 Which is easier,
to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Rise up and walk'? 24 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power
on earth to forgive sins" — He said to the man who was paralyzed, "I say to you, arise, take up your bed,
and go to your house." 25 Immediately he rose up before them, took up what he had been lying on, and departed
to his own house, glorifying God. 26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God and were filled with fear, saying, "We
have seen strange things today!" NKJV
