HOW DO YOU USE YOUR ZEAL?
What is your response to my question? Zeal are those new spark
ignited actions That reach forth from your ego mind To accomplish your heart's deep desire.
Yes,
zeal comes only from first love Directing that push for excellence, How are you using your zeal today?
Earnest Christians, give God their zeal.
Should the time come when your zeal changes
Examine closely the changed goal, Committed Christian ways are not easy God will not accept being a second
love.
So guard your way, testing your desires!

LET US HAVE COMMUNION WITH JESUS OUR FIRST LOVE
PICK
UP YOUR MANTLE WHEN CALLED !
We
pray earnestly for a job from God In our hearts we yearn to save the lost Yet when God calls us where are
we? We ask, was that You who called me?
Yes, God calls us to pick up the mantle For
a certain work for his kingdom Promising a mantle of His power, Now we choose, accept or deny it.
We ask ourselves was it from God? How does God move us, we ask others? Do we get a letter
through the mail? Does a neighbor come sharing gossip? Oh! no that is not the way God works.
If we expect God to move us on With a physical nudge we can feel, I am afraid we have a long wait, Oh! no that is not the way God works.
Some erect a mental protective canopy Seeking insulation
from Spirit urges, How can God touch such an ego? Be not afraid of God, remove your shield.
It
could not be God who called me, Just some mental thoughts of good things, My creation, yes God, say it
was mine, Then I can be comfortable in denying.
Oh God, I pray for a discerning soul
So that when You place a mantle on me I will not be timid and hide in fear, Help me to discern and move
boldly.

HAVE I LOST
MY FIRST LOVE ?
A high school student says, I want to be a football star And I want to be drum major, Why can't he be both?
A
woman aims to be a star In the busy business world With a family of six to care, Why can't
she be both?
A factory worker desires To play top seeded golf tournaments And with a family,
where's time? Why can't he do all three?
A doctor wants family time And notoriety of
greatness Neither goals are accomplished Well, why can't he do both?
When our pursuits are
conflicting, What options will solve our problem? Unfortunately, there are none For one will
become a first love.
We have the problem of how To discard the second love, The longer we wait
to destroy The greater our suffering will be.
So it is with Christians I fear, They
make God their first love, Then other goals come creeping in, Serving God becomes second.
Here
is a Scripture that will help you:
Rev 2:1-7 To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, These things says He
who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lamp stands: 2 I know your works,
your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles
and are not, and have found them liars; 3 and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name's sake and
have not become weary. 4 Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.
5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove
your lamp stand from its place — unless you repent. 6 But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans,
which I also hate. 7 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will
give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God."' NKJV
