JESUS PRAYING IN THE GARDEN
HOLY INSPIRATION
I was filled with the thrill of a new idea, It was like a silent bolt of lightening Coming
suddenly from out of no where Joyfully filling me with excitement Continuing on like a rolling drum ending
At the close of a Tchaikovsky symphony, When the Holy Spirit sparks my spirit soul, To inspire and equip me, to do God's work.
You ask," When does this happen to you?"
It has occurred while reading a book, And then at times when hearing a sermon Or when listening to a musical
score, It comes when needed and at God's calling, Praise Him for filling me with a passion, When the Holy Spirit sparks my spirit soul, To inspire and equip me, to do God's work.
Is there such a thing as mass inspiration Where hundreds are blessed at one time? No, the
answer is only by a party of three, The Holy Spirit, the source and you or me The Holy Spirit places His
spiritual touch On the giver and then on the receiving soul, When the Holy Spirit
sparks my spirit soul, To inspire and equip us, to do God's work.
Oh how I long for this action
of three For I am willing and eager to serve, When this directional guidance comes It is so
awesome that I sit quietly Fearful that any distraction will destroy The wonder of the moment and the call,
When the Holy Spirit sparks my spirit soul, To inspire and equip me, to do God's work.
You say, “Oh, how I would like to be so touched.” May I ask do you have a sin
pattern in your life Especially habitual sins that trouble and rule you? Ask God to give you the strength
to stop them, Ask God to help you live a life right with Him, Then you will be ripe for His inspiration,
When the Holy Spirit sparks your spirit soul, To inspire and equip you, to do God's work.

PICK UP YOUR
MANTLE OF POWER WHEN CALLED !

JOSEPH OBEYED THE CALL TO GO TO EGYPT
We pray earnestly for a job from God
In our hearts we yearn to save the lost Yet when God calls us where are we? We ask, was that
You who called me?
Yes, God calls us to pick up the mantle For a certain work for his kingdom
Promising a mantle of His power, Now we choose, accept or deny it.
We ask ourselves was it
from God? How does God move us, we ask others? Do we get a letter through the mail? Does
a neighbor come sharing gossip? Oh! no that is not the way God works.
If we expect God to move us
on With a physical nudge we can feel, I am afraid we have a long wait, Oh! no that is not
the way God works.
Some erect a mental protective canopy Seeking insulation from Spirit urges, How can God touch such an ego? Be not afraid of God, remove your shield.
It could not be God who
called me, Just some mental thoughts of good things, My creation, yes God, say it was mine,
Then I can be comfortable in denying.
Oh God, I pray for a discerning soul So that when You place
a mantle on me I will not be timid and hide in fear, Help me to discern and move boldly.

JESUS CALLS US TO WORK FOR HIM
CALLING, CALLING ME
I go into my secret garden To see what's growing there, I see the fruit of love calling Calling, calling me there.
I go into my hidden garden Peace overcomes me, my spirit, The chair that sits in the garden. Calling, calling me there.
I sit down in my secret
garden Amidst the splendor of the flowers, It’s like another world is calling Calling,
calling me there.
While sitting in my hidden garden I feel the soft breeze around me The leaves
move in silent concert Calling, calling me there.
While sitting in my secret garden My
spirit comes alive in me Like a hot tub bath it soothes me Calling, calling me to rest.
Oh,
no, must I leave my garden! Yet, I inwardly know I must, God has work for me to do now Calling,
calling me to work.
