LET ME BE A LIVING FIRE
Let me be a living fire,
To Your glory, King of kings,
Fill
my heart with pure desire,
Ever while I live.
Help me choose unselfishly,
From this
world I would be free,
For all it’s sin and vanity,
Broke Your tender heart.
Let Your
church with motive clean,
Bring You joy and make You sing
In Your presence praise we bring,
Ever while I live.

Comment by Frank Henrich: I remember singing this song in the 1970's and over the years. It always draws
me closer to God with a desire to serve Him in a ministry. May I suggest you read the poem three times meditating for a minute
between readings. Then ask the Holy Spirit to inspire you to a work for God, to be His hands, His voice, His touch, to a troubled
soul.
