PRAYER FOR MY SICK WIFE

Oh Lord my heart does ache
My poor wife is so sick,
I want so desperately
  To ease her heavy pain,
Oh Lord, please hear my plea!

I remember when, yes when
We were so full of joy
When our first child was born,
When we held hands in love,
Oh Lord, please hear my plea!

I know we can't turn back
The clock of time to yesterday,
If only we could, yes could
Be both well and full of life,
Oh Lord, please hear my plea!

You have the cattle on 1000 hills
There is nothing You can not do!
Please, I plead, heal my wife
And restore her to my life,
Oh Lord, please hear my plea!

I know that someday we all
  Will leave these earthly bodies
But must it be with such pain,
I am full of hopeless anguish,
Oh Lord, please hear my plea!

Rebuild our hope in You,
Let us both feel Your love,
Fill us with understanding,
  Guide us our sweet Jesus
To remember our eternal life.

Please be merciful to her
  Heal and restore her health,
This is my fervent prayer to you,
But let Your will be done,
Oh Lord, please hear my plea!

SWEET REDEEMER MINE

Can I hide in the silence of Your glory?
Can peace always surround my fragile body?
Can I be strong enough to live in faith?
Guide me, love me, sweet Redeemer mine.

My strength to live this way comes from You
May Your loving grace always fill my veins
With a desire to be Your servant to others,
Guide me, love me, sweet Redeemer mine.

You have taken this old wretched life of mine
Cleansed it with Your blood and robed it white
Sending me out carrying Your cross to souls astray,
Guide me, love me, sweet Redeemer mine.

My prayer is if I stray away from Your path
Quickly take my hand and gently lead me back
Once a life in You is tasted, there's none other,
Guide me, love me, sweet Redeemer mine.
