A BEAUTIFUL 500 YEAR OLD MEDIEVAL IMAGE

By Frank E. Henrich  September 22, 2008

The wise men had gifts of great value,
What can I offer you but a humble and meek will?
Did I hear You say, “That will do”?

Could it be that the only gift I can bring
Is a soul that longs to serve you
With thank you gifts of a servant?

Then Lord take my simple gifts
And bless them to your glory
This is the desire of your servant (add your name)

Read 2 Tim 1: 6-7 & 2:15

Just think when this medieval image was created years ago, only one person at a time could be inspired by the image as there was only one copy.

Through modern reproduction of books, the Holy Spirit can inspire thousands. So count your self blessed and take time and study the image the artist has given you. Notice all the detail and be moved to find your gifts to present to Jesus.

Can you picture yourself there giving a gift? What would it be that you would present? Praise God that He has given us such wonderful beauty for us to view!
