FOR SEEKERS OF
GOD
So you are a seeker of God,
How do you seek God?
Develop purity of heart,
Be humble and
meek
In your walk with God.
As you have learned
The spirit world is vast,
And not
understood by you,
Seek safe way to follow
For Satan will devour.
Four safe mind guides
Will see you safely through,
Let the Holy Spirit live,
Yes, live within you
By casting all sin away.
Secondly, learn very well
The precepts of the Bible,
For God
does not change,
It will provide boundaries
And protection for you,
Attend church regularly
For it will keep you away
From cults and soothsayers
Who would turn your attention
From Jesus, your total savior.
Keep your mind focused on God
Asking Jesus to lead you.
Yes, lead safely through the blur
And then abide in the peace
That only His grace does provide.
You don’t have God’s inner peace?
Watch out for cults they deceive,
Ask God
to show you what is wrong,
Pray with your focus fully on Him
And His peace so lacking, will fill
you.

IN A LIFE POEM
Poem: Can I
reach beyond myself?
Can
I reach beyond myself?
What would I find there?
A nobler life?
A freer life?
A life
of no stress and pain?
Can I reach beyond myself?
To a fresh new start?
A clean slate to work
with?
Where the past does not exist
And I am twenty five again?
Can my seventy-six year old
bones
Spring to the call of adventure
With the balance of riding
A bike with no hands steering
Or dance the jitter bug all night?
Can I reach beyond myself
To help others who are hurting?
Can I let compassion for others
Rule my mind with caring ideas?
Must I stop and let my mind rest?
It seems there is a time for things,
A time to reach out and pull back,
Lord Jesus, help me
to know when
Each is my proper role,
I rest in your guidance.

a mind focused on God will not have cults deceive it and Satan will not devour Christrians.
