THE
LIVING LIFE

Sometimes I shudder at the fragileness of life,
Expected and unforeseen just a moment away;
My mind is filled with uncertainty and fear,
Could all factors blend into an okay way?
Sometimes I shudder at the hardness of life,
Where cruel persons seem to win;
Where in the name of business some suffer,
Where I hope for manly right to begin.
Sometimes I shudder at the coldness of life;
My stomach reels with a wave of fears,
Into
a violent throes of worry and prayer;
While my mind
does cry hidden tears.
Sometimes I wonder why life should be a care;
Where are the carefree, loving events?
We
can find them in our memories so pleasing,
As we think
and ponder each line and bent.
Sometimes I wonder why life should be a care;
There was Mom and Dad who savored their day;
If they made it, cannot we follow their lead?
Somehow they got us to where we are today.
Oh, where is the middle ground between these two,
The dead cetainty of the past and the unknown now?
How can we blend these two so we can win?
Only thru Jesus, can this life be known!
Jesus taught that we would have our crosses to bear,
There would be no rose garden for us;
Being
Christian means He will, our prayers hear,
For He
promised that he would ride on our bus.
So when your mind wants to cry tears;
When fears give your stomach a turn,
Have faith and call on Jesus so near,
And throw those cares in the fire to burn.

An educator in concepts
A Christian in Christ’s Presence
These all are akin:
Unite them and you have life.
Life with meaning,
For Christians, a God-centered life.
DELIVERANCE PRAYER
(substitute your name and
sin where noted)
Lord God, I (your name) have sinned
Against you and need your forgiveness;
I have a sin addiction of (name the sin)
And have tried not to sin but yet sin.
I cannot overcome
temptations to sin
Without your help, so please hear me
Have mercy on my soul and help me
And I will avoid circumstances leading to sin.
Please heal me outright so I don't sin,
If not outright
send me the help I need
To live a life pleasing to you my God
I ask this Father God, in the name of Jesus.
