Is the supernatural real?
    Deliverance thru supernatural intervention?
  Why do I have such a hard time
    Saying these words to others?
  What is wrong with the word supernatural?
    Can I substitute the word spiritual?
  Saying is the spiritual real?
    Deliverance thru spiritual intervention?
  Well, there are spiritual and physical events
    Of a supernatural unexplained quality
  But here I am addressing the physical acts.

  Could it be that I have become too worldly,
    Worried what others will say of me,
  Yes, even think of me, and yes, be ostracized?

  For you see I do believe
    In deliverance thru the insertion
  Of supernatural intervention,
    But would I still be embarrassed to admit
  Such a happening in my life?
    In the culture of the current time?

  As the Jews stood defenseless
    With their backs to the Red Sea,
  As Pharaoh's army stood ready to charge,
    God told them thru Moses to
  Stand firm, wait and not fear
    For God would show His mighty hand.
  They stood firm and the water
    Of the Red Sea parted and formed
  A dry path for them to safety
    And then before their eyes
  All the Pharaoh’s army died.

  Wow, that was a supernatural intervention!
    What a deliverance of God’s people!
  Do you not think that God can deliver
    Us from a sick non-God current culture?
  Of course, He can, as we hold firm and trust,
    Waiting for His mighty hand to come.

  But the Red Sea was thousands of years ago,
    I am talking about today, right now,
  Perhaps, I have forgotten that God
    Is the same God as in BC times.

  I just realized that when I pray
    I am asking God for deliverance,
  In a physical supernatural insertion,
    Into the life of those I pray for,
  To make them well or cause
    Another event in someone else’s life.

  I pray daily asking God to
    Deliver thru supernatural intervention,
  Why should I be afraid to tell
    My friends that my God has power?
  Well, I won’t be any longer afraid
    To shout it from the roof tops,
  My God intervenes and cares!

  Now, Frank, think of what you
    Have just shouted from your throat,
  Declaring that God can correct
    An ego centered sick anti-God culture;
  That’s right, God can in His timing
    We, just need to be not afraid, 
  He knows what is going on,
    Hold firm, live a life for Him
  And watch Him work!

  Just think, we have the opportunity
    To pray for God's acts of deliverance.
