HOPE COME TO ME

   D A R E  I  H O P E  A G A I N ?

                By Frank E. Henrich  1984

Oh Hope,
In the middle years, where have you flown?
Is there not,
Some new hope for mature Christians?

Can I not
Have hope, a new hope regained?
Dare I hope again?
Oh Lord, dare I believe in You?

Hope is impossible,
Without believing in Your little miracles.
Without hope,
  Obedience is unfathomable,

Without obedience,
A life pleasing to You is unattainable.
I fall on bended knee to you my God
Please restore my faith in You again.
