When God Says No to my Ministery

WHEN GOD SAYS NO TO MY MINISTRY

MY MINISTRY IS GONE !

What happens when you strive to work for the Lord and the ministry you thought, the Lord wanted you to do is failing? You have accepted that your ministry, even though worthwhile, that it is not in God’s plan. In other words, when God says no, you back off and feel alone, deserted. You say, well, I missed God’s will on this one! You try to rest. You feel that a part of you left, fell from you and your mind, yes, more than that, your whole being questions how are you going to fill the vacuum. As you pray, what if God whispered in your mind:

What do you seek from Me?

Have I not always been there beside you?

Did you not sing My praises as a youth?

Doing is not the only way you can please me.

Why do you value success by actions?

What I seek from you is love and devotion,

Be at rest with this.

Know that I love you

And when you feel my grace

Rejoice for all is well with you.

When I need you

I will call you loudly

And then you are to act

But until then learn to be still

Relax in my prescribed quietness.

My Christian ministry is gone and it seems like God wants me elsewhere in my wialk with jesus. Christian quietness an Christian contentment are my goal now as i write Christians poems.

This is Frank Henrich writing. After I penned the poem to the left, I wondered what is "Christian Quietness" for t was a term had never used before. What does it mean to you? After much prayer, i wrote the below poem. Note the dates on the two poems.

What is Christian Quietness ?

It is an outlook
   That directs your life.

With a base
   Of devotion and love,
It is having contentment
With what ever you have.

How can others learn
   Of this outlook?

Is it an active life?
   Oh! Yes,
In outward actions?
   Oh!, yes

It’s movements are
   Never stressful, forceful.

Never based on
   Physical actions,
It’s a glow
   That flows from you.

It’s a brilliant
   Yes, bright sheen.

Rejoicing in love
   Serving, patient & kind,
Never rude or callous
   Boastful or self seeking.

Such a path is a road,
   To Christian quietness.

Let God direct
   Your ways,
Be at peace
   With yourself.

Find the path
   And walk with Jesus.

In my walk with Jesus i like prescribed quietness. It came when my Christian ministry suddenly failed and I wondered why. I sought Chritian Contentment for my ministry is gone.
