HUNGRY TO KNOW MORE ABOUT GOD ?
Have you ever sought the gift of God’s awareness in your life? Well, I did, many years ago, and if you would like to know what happened to me read
below
PERSONAL TESTIMONY
True story in the life of Frank Henrich.
In my middle years of age, I listened to Christian teaching tapes as I traveled making sales calls. Many
spoke about the baptism of the Holy Spirit and taught that we should all seek it as an empowerment to do God’s work
here on earth. Determining that I had not received it, I prayed to receive this blessing. Well, God responded in a very powerful
way and gave me this baptism. As a side benefit,
it gave me a desire to tell my friends so that they could also have this experience with God.
But try as I could, there just didn’t seem a method I could use to convey this experience other than my testimony. While
on a business trip I passed by one of the Francisican California Missions, Mission San Miguel Archangel in San Miguel, California.
I stopped and walked into the old adobe church. I was alone and my eyes had to adjust to the darkness. The church was a long
and narrow with a high ceiling. The only light was from the sun beaming through the few stained glass windows.
Over the altar was a large painted single eye, conveying the idea that God sees all; there is no hiding from Him. Located
in the middle of the church near the side wall the pulpit was 12 feet high, reached by a small spiral stairway. Suspended
by a thin wire over the pulpit was a figure of a white dove that just seemed to float there in the dim light. A sun beam from
the window illumated the white dove so that it glistened in its colored light. Since the white dove is a symbol of the Holy
Spirit, my thoughts turned to prayer. My prayer became, Lord, how can I tell others of the baptism of the Holy Spirit so they
too can partake. It was then that I had an insight and suddenly realized that I can not place the Holy Spirit in a bottle
and open the bottle at will. No, the Holy Spirit is like the wind which I can not see or direct. But I can have
compassion for our friends who I hope will be blessed this way and pray. Do I recommend the baptism of the Holy Spirit
for you? Oh!, yes, pray for God to give you this great blessing. To
the right is a poem describing how God touched me. If He hasn't touched you just ask Him to visit you. Read Hebrews 6:2,
Acts 5:32, 9:31 & 11:16. )

I seek to be hungary to know God, to have God touch me, while I am seeking God. Yes, so i can say the Holy spirit
touched me while seaching for God. It was at the San Miquel California Mission that I leaned that god is Spirit and alive
and became awake for God.

God Touched Me
by Frank Henrich April 15, 2007
God touched my life, It
came unexpectedly, And suddenly now My life is changed forever.
Before the world was only What I could see, But now I fully realize The spirit world is alive.
God cares for
little me For He touched me, In my sorrow and concern, He reached out to me. He cares for me, Little me, no great saint, Just an ordinary person, How great is His love!
In church, I was taught That God is spirit and alive, And I
hoped it was true, Suddenly, I knew it was.
Oh! what a change It has made in my life,
Before, coping only with the seen, Now, I am comforted by His presence.
What is this life in
the spirit? How does it function? Can it be defined? Jesus, I need your help.
God
used a yellow rose And inner voice to awaken me, From passivity to newness, I have a new horizon
to search.
Has God awakened you? If not, ask Him, And when it happens, Your vista
will expand.
You will seek His face, And learn to understand, His ways and how
They guide you.
It is like suddenly finding A door that was invisible, And it opens and bids
That you enter.
You enter and find, A world where prayer, Bible studies, and retreats,
Engage your mind.
You will come to Understand that God is alive, Your sleepy life
Will awaken to a new dawn.
