At My Answered Prayer Request, Through
Grace God Controls My Desires, So Then My Thoughts
What is God's Grace ?
Grace
is a spiritual gift from God
Manifested in a material world
As an indweller in a persons’ soul
So right action becomes desire.
Unearned, is Grace in various forms
Given without cost to a worthy soul
Who hungers to do right, yet fails,
Saying, help me, a miserable sinner.
Can I define these various forms?
Can anyone count the sand on beach?
Can I describe one grace from another?
Only an intellectual fool would try.
Then how will I know I have Grace?
If you desire to live a sinless life,
If sinning, you cannot live with yourself,
Then you are witnessing
God’s grace.
Never take this great spiritual gift
For
granted and become puffed up
For it flees when spiritual pride enters,
Stay meek and humble before the Lord.
Then there are occasions that are special
And the Lord marks them with an unusual sign,
He showers His Grace upon one of His workers
When being licensed, commissioned, or ordained.
This special showering came to me twice
Both when I was commissioned to His work,
It lasted three wonderful days each time
I pleaded it stay on, but it was for me a sign.
Did I hear you say that’s for preachers only?
How long would a wheel roll without spokes?
God showers His grace
on all ministries
Even our little spokes are important to Him.
Yes, these signs show that God is with us
You say, can grace also be in my life?
I always council my fellow Christians
When hurting, find a mission for
Christ.
When old, sick or struck with woes,
Trust Precious Jesus
to take your hand,
Then find a mission and work there,
God will give
you Grace to do it well.
Ah grace! grace from our living God
How silent and sweet you are to me
You found my soul that is so fearful,
Filling it with the joy of serving You.

THE GIFT
A gift not received
In the heart
Loses
its merit.
God Has gifts for you
Of a love and caring,
But you notice them not.
You turn away from them
You shun your only helper
And let sin rule your life.
Before it is too late
Call on Saviour Jesus
Receive His gifts
Into your living life.

While studying the Bible, I came across
a Scripture and I could make no sense out of it. The Scripture is Matt 13:11-12 11 Jesus answered and said to them, "Because
it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. 12 For whoever
has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away
from him. NKJV
I could not understand how can something we do not have be taken away from us. I wanted
to understand so I turned to God in prayer asking, “What does this Scripture mean.” I have learned to wait until
God wants to reveal my prayer requests. Some He deems not necessary or good for me and others in time come to me in a knowing,
I need to trust in Him.
Sometime later an understanding of this Scripture filled me and I knew the answer.
Every day God gives us gifts that that show His love and concern for us. He gives us the sun of morning, the plants where
little seeds fill our tables with food. He give us so many things renewed each day. Yet we can deny their source and if we
do the eyes of our mind fail to see from where the gift has come from. We lose the knowledge of God our provider just as the
Scripture says we will in Matthew 13:12. Instead with veiled eyes we credit our industry, our intellect and good actions and
Satan has his will over us. Don’t let God’s daily gifts to you go unacknowledged but instead praise Him and have
His peace of mind. I praised God for this Scripture understanding. Do you credit God’s daily gifts to others than He?
One of these daily gifts is grace, yes to serve Him with desire and joy.
What is God's grace is a question often asked. Is it a spiritual gift or Gos's daily gift tous of the grace of God. In
this free religious poem we discuss the book of Matthew and spiritual pride. I want God's grace to cntorl my desires
and thoughts through requested prayer release by me.
